The Palmerston Zoo: Solving the Paradox of Current World History

I don’t know what to make of Webster Griffin Tarpley or Lyndon LaRouche – I’m not talking about their political or economic philosophy – I reject those – but of their presentation and interpretation of history – what I call “deep history.” Here is a fascinating narrative they present about how we got where we are in the world today. I find stuff like this worthwhile as a possible narrative that is closer to the truth than pop history. I don’t always buy it in the end, but I always find it valuable to compare ideas. In this case, the story really holds together and is fascinating, plus, I recognized some truth in it just from my own knowledge. Take from it what you will.
