Fantastic show today! This certainly is an area where Paleo-Conservatives/Constitutionalists (me) should agree with Libertarians. And this is a most grave concern, as our right of self defense is a most import God given right, as you brought out. We need to understand that governments (including ours!) are dangerous to the individual. I had an email during your show, from a conservative friend who was listening in, who personally knows police and FBI officers and thinks you might be “over the top” with your concern, as his acquaintances are ‘good guys’. He has missed the point as the ‘rank and file’ are you and I. It’s the guys at the top we need to be concerned with! And the guys at the top command the rank and file. And if the rank and file don’t respond to ‘orders’, they are most severely disciplined!
