It seems that over the past decade and a half the voting in this country has undergone a fundamental transformation. From evidence of election fraud in the crucial state of Ohio during the Bush-Kerry race to widespread evidence of election fraud against Ron Paul in the 2012 Republican primaries, along with the suspicious cessation of real-time exit polling and the lack of transparency from casting votes to counting and reporting them, voting has become an unsupportable act of faith in government. But the people do still have the ultimate power: Consent of the governed is still a necessity for the rulers to rule, so they expend a tremendous amount of effort making us think we ourselves have chosen and empowered them so we won’t resist their rule.
The media’s role in this is to get us to believe that this is a real contest, at this point, among the last men standing in the GOP race and Hillary, having made her bones in the primaries against Bernie. This is a psychological endeavor of the highest order and it’s not taken lightly by those at the top. For example, David Axelrod said a year ago, “In 2007, [Hillary’s] campaign was this juggernaut of inevitability and it was a top-down experience….Voters don’t like to be told that their decision is predetermined. They want to be asked for their vote.” Enter Bernie Sanders.
Even barring election fraud and media manipulation, the reality is, as GOP delegate Curly Haugland said recently on CNBC, “The media has created the perception that the voters will decide the nomination….We are just one of the political parties. There are many political parties and political parties choose their nominee not the general public.” The host responds, “Then why have primaries at all?” Haugland: “That’s a very good question.” Here’s the answer: the perception of consent-by-democracy creates consent even among those who voted “No.”

Here are a few interesting examples of evidence of election fraud in the United States in the 21st century.
Election Fraud: An introduction to exit probability analysis
Here are some shocking details about who counted the vote in Ohio during the Bush v Kerry campaign.
Here is a voting machine engineer testifying that he was asked to help rig the Ohio election for Bush. (Update: looks like the video below has been pulled–big surprise! Here’s another copy of it, for as long as it lasts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEzY2tnwExs)

An easy-to-find $15 piece of hardware is all it takes to hack a voting machine
Update (9/12/16):
This isn’t getting press because they want to fix the problem. This is getting press because they want to control elections on the federal level rather than the state level, which will definitely ensure no fair elections ever again.
Double-voting – even triple-voting – found in US elections
Check out the language in the article:
Prosecutors say the 63-year-old Tennessee man voted in the 2012 presidential election, not once … not twice … but three times, in three different states.
Note the problem crosses state borders implying it can’t be handled at the state level.
“Election fraud is a crime against the entire American public. It is a crime against the Constitution and a crime against the foundations of our nation,” [Jay DeLancey of the Voter Integrity Project] said.
Note how the crime is framed as a federal, national issue–“a crime against the entire American public,” “the Constitution” and “the foundations of our nation.” In reality, however, the states can get their electors however they like and are responsible for ensuring the enfranchisement of their own citizens.
FRANKLY, THE CANDIDATES COULD CARE LESS!!! THE PRESIDENT, IF YOU CAN CALL IT THAT, IS THE CHOICE OF THE GLOBAL ELITE CABAL. THEY ONLY HAVE PEOPLE COME TO THE POLLS TO SEE JUST HOW MUCH OF CONTROL THEY HAVE, THE MORE PEOPLE COME TO THE POLLS, THE MORE THEY SEE, THAT THEIR ORCHESTRATED ACT WORKS. LOOK THEY ARE COMING TO THE POLLS AND WE HAVE FOOLED THEM AGAIN, AGAIN, AND AGAIN. WE DO NOT MAKE A CHOICE PEOPLE, AND IF WE DO, WE ARE NOT MAKING THE CHOICES THAT WE SHOULD.
I think voting is morally wrong, but I wouldn’t refuse to associate with someone just because they voted.
