Shia + Babylonia + Kurdistan = The States Formerly Known as Iraq: Podcast of June 21, 2014 Show

Hour 1

Hour 2

Hour 3

Despite what every single mainstream media outlet tells you about what’s going on in Iraq right now, it is NOT a result of

Obama’s ideals or incompetence. It is the culmination of a long term geopolitical goal decades in the making. There is copious evidence to support this view….

The Bernard Lewis Plan called for a reshaping of the Middle East along ethnic lines, including giving southern Iraq to Iran as a Shia state, the north would be the nucleus of “Kurdistan” and central Iraq would be part of the ethnic Sunni region.

Operation Cyclone begun by the Carter administration was the first step in implementing the Bernard Lewis Plan. Zbigniew Brzezinski stated at one time that the point of sending mujahadeen into Afghanistan predated the Soviet invasion and that it wasn’t a response to Soviet aggression, it was meant to provoke it and give the USSR its Viet Nam, which it did!

In 1994, Dick Cheney explained what would have happened if we had removed Hussein in the first Gulf War. It’s exactly what’s happening now. It wasn’t unforeseen and was not an unintended consequence. The clip I used in the show came from this good video by Storm Clouds Gathering. The whole video is worth watching but the clip is at about 3:15.

I referred to the paper, “A Clean Break,” which I misspoke on the show by saying it was written in 2006 – it was actually written in 1996 – five years before 9/11. It’s a recommendation by American neo-conservatives to Israel about what is in their best interests, including removing Saddam Hussein from power and bombing Syria. People say Israel sets America’s foreign policy, but this might be evidence that it’s the other way around. (For a discussion of this topic, see Gregory Harms’ book, Straight Power Concepts). In any case, this study/project was led by Former US Assistant Secretary of Defense Richard Perle and states: “Israel can shape its strategic environment, in cooperation with Turkey and Jordan, by weakening, containing, and even rolling back Syria. This effort can focus on removing Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq — an important Israeli strategic objective in its own right — as a means of foiling Syria’s regional ambitions.” The study goes on to recommend a restoration of the “principle of preemption” to justify firing missiles into Syria even if Syria does not first fire missiles into Israel. In short, almost 20 years ago, our power elite was recommending wars of aggression in Iraq & Syria and planning to use Israel’s security to justify them.

During the George W. Bush administration, Condeleeza Rice stated in a press conference, “[w]hat we’re seeing here [in regards to the destruction of Lebanon], in a sense, is the growing [pains]—the ‘birth pangs’—of a ‘New Middle East’ and whatever we do we have to be certain that we’re pushing forward to the New Middle East, not going back to the old one.” Out of Rice’s plans for a New Middle East comes the map above, widely circulated in the defense world.

Here’s is a telling quote by Oded Yinon from 1982 while he was in the Israeli Foreign Ministry: “Breaking up Lebanon into five provinces precedes the fate that awaits the entire Arab world, including Egypt, Syria, Iraq and all the Arab peninsula; in Lebanon, it is already an accomplished fact. The disintegration of Syria and Iraq into ethnically or religiously homogenous provinces, like Lebanon, is Israel’s top priority, in the long run, on its eastern front. In the short run, the objective is the military dissolution of these States. Syria [for example] will be divided into several States, according to the ethnic communities, … This … will guarantee peace and security in the area in the long run: that is an objective that is, now within our reach.” I, along with millions of Israelis, including the one who translated this passage, do not agree it is in Israel’s best interest to shatter and destabilize all its neighbors, but there are us vs them in every country it seems.

Once again, the MUST READ, Report from Iron Mountain. For a full discussion of this report as well as my thoughts on its authenticity, please listen to my podcast on the matter.

Here are a couple of other quotes I read on the air:

Woodrow Wilson: “there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that [even the biggest men in the United States know] they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”

Hillary Clinton: “the Iraqi people need to think seriously about the kind of leader they need to try to unite Iraqis against what is a terrible, imminent threat from these most extreme terrorists.” I pointed out that the ugly truth is people like Hussein, Qaddafi and Assad are the kind of brutal dictators that keep terrorists (as well as anyone else who challenges their authority) at bay – take them out at your peril as Dick Cheney warned in the clip above.

Here are some references made on the show:

2) Tragedy & Hope

3) America: Freedom to Fascism

4) The Naked Communist (I am not familiar with this video, only the book.)

5) Zeitgeist
This series is a little disturbing to me as it starts with a denial of the existence of Christ even as a historical figure. Many people think this movement is the real deal, some think it is a psyop…you decide.

Update (3/25/2016): They never mention that this was the plan all along…

Iraq Isn’t Lost to Iran
The ISIS onslaught has convinced many Iraqis of the need for better relations with the U.S.

  1. The White Plague by Frank Herbert, author of Dune. A molecular biologist’s wife and daughter are killed by an IRA bombing, so he creates a germ that gives men a terrible cold, but kills women. He infects money with it and sends it to the IRA. Of course, it spreads beyond them…
