Personally, I don’t think it’s suspicious that tech is laying people off; Their response to the pandemic stole jobs from other sectors, and gave them to tech. They didn’t anticipate that the shutdown would result in people putting on their pajamas, and ordering stuff from home instead of the recession They were attempting to get.
