Answer: One. Or none, if you don’t think Tamerlan Tsarnaev was a jihadist and think instead that he was a patsy as his dead friend Ibragim Todashev did.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the dead Boston Marathon Bombing “Suspect #1,” was married to Katherine Russell Tsarnaev, daughter of Yale graduate, Dr. Warren King Russell II. Knowing of Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s CIA connections and that Yale has deep links to the CIA, I wondered if Katherine’s family had any CIA connections itself. I thought perhaps Katherine and Tamerlan’s meeting was not as random as the nightclub story that is part of the official narrative. (How many radical Islamists pick up their future wives at nightclubs?)
Ends up, Katherine’s grandfather, Richard Warren Russell, was not only a Yale graduate as her father was, but was a member of Skull & Bones, the paradoxically well-known secret society. I happen to be reading a book I found through my research into tax exempt foundations following the recent IRS scandal, called America’s Secret Establishment: An Introduction to the Order of Skull & Bones, by Antony Sutton, a Stanford Hoover Institution fellow. In that book, Richard Warren Russell is listed as one of the 15 annual Skull & Bones initiates for the year 1951. In addition, Richard Warren Russell’s obituary lists him as being a member of counter-intelligence for the US Army after graduating from Yale, which is not unlikely given that the connections between Yale and the intelligence community are particularly strong within Skull & Bones. (The Robert DeNiro movie The Good Shepherd highlights these connections.)
In the Sutton book, he mentions that one of the two founders of Skull & Bones was William Huntington Russell and in fact the corporate name of Skull & Bones is the Russell Trust, but upon further research I have determined that Richard Warren Russell, and therefore Katherine Russell, are not direct descendants of William Huntington Russell. I have not, however, ruled out the possibility that they are cousin families.
Family connections within Yale, Skull & Bones and even the CIA are encouraged and there is much intermarriage evident in the histories of the families listed as prominent within Skull & Bones society, so it was Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s family connections with the CIA that prompted me to dig into possible connections through his wife’s family also. Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s uncle, Ruslan Tsarni, fka Ruslan Tsarnaev, was married to Samantha Fuller Tsarnaev, the daughter of well-known CIA Chief and radical Islam fomenter, Graham Fuller, and it was my thought that it was more likely Tamerlan was accepted into a Skull & Bones family through this channel than through a random meeting as a refugee in a nightclub.
While investigating the period when Katherine and Tamerlan met four years ago, I tried to find the 2009 article about Tamerlan Tsarnaev, “Will Box For Passport,” only to discover that the article had been completely scrubbed from the Internet. That article quotes Tamerlan Tsarnaev as saying that he had not one American friend, despite the fact that his daughter was born the next year to his American wife, Katherine Russell (though the child was apparently conceived out of wedlock, another anomaly for a strict Muslim). He also said that his girlfriend (shown here in a picture from the article) was half Italian, half Portuguese–was he saying that Katherine Russel, whose grandfather went to Yale, was in Skull & Bones and worked for military intelligence, was half Italian, half Portuguese by descent? But he said he had no American friends so the implication is she has one parent from Portugal, one from Italy, which means it’s not Katherine, though the woman in the picture appears clearly to be Katherine as you can see from these photos.
In addition to his marriage into a well-established American family contradicting the impression that he had no American friends, on a separate occasion, Tamerlan Tsarnaev described as his best friend Brendan Mess, the reportedly Jewish-American victim of a triple homicide of which the dead Tsarnaev is now being accused.
Also not squarely consistent with the official narrative is Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s Amazon wish list which reads as much like an aspiring spy’s as a lone wolf jihadist’s–maybe moreso. Â The list includes numerous books about false IDs, Chechen history and the art of persuasion, including Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People, as well as such jihadist-unlikely titles as the great book by Boethius The Consolation of Philosophy and Edward Gibbon’s The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.

wow, nice research.
Monica, what do you think about this whole operation urban Sheild stuff?? No one thinks this is obvious? Mainstream is reporting this like its a coincidence. How can it be? And along with the warnings if the drills that day, isn’t it clear that this “Operation” went bad when their bombs actually hurt and killed people. It seems as though they may have hired the Tarnaevs given the older brothers history on watch list then they actually turned on them when the disaster happened!
These families are ridiculous…I just read a book titled ‘Sacred Scroll of Seven Seals’ in which this Author traces the Russell bloodline to the Vikings, the Knights Templar, and even to the Tribe of Dan, from the Bible. These clowns killed a hundred million people in the country of India before incorporating America. This book rewrites history.
