Gun control is all in the news this week and will be for awhile I suspect. I’m also worried about something else: Obama’s executive orders on gun control seem kinda tame but if you peel the onion, I think there’s more to them. Like a magician gets you to focus on the wrong thing so he can trick you from another angle, I think this volley is about the Surveillance State. I’ll tell you all about it on the show this week, Sunday 1pm-3pm on News-Talk WSB 750am, 95,5fm, on iheartradio and on www.wsbradio.com at showtime. If you want to join the discussion, give a call during the show: 404-872-0750 or 800 WSB TALK.

Gun control’s Nazi connection: http://jpfo.org/filegen-a-m/GCA_68.htm
“Startling evidence suggests that the Gun Control Act of 1968 was lifted, almost in its entirety, from Nazi legislation.”
Why is that tree right in front of that bookshelf????
I totally noticed that too! Looks crazy! A pipe burst in my house and we had to move all the furniture from one half of the house to the other so it’s a mass of confusion. It’s not even a real tree 🙁
Like your husband, and for the same reasons, I decided it was time to get a gun. My husband recommended to me a .38 revolver. He says you’re right to choose the .223 because you would probably not like the recoil on the .308. Unfortunately, he says the .223 is currently hard to come by because so many people are buying them. Inventories of ammunition are also way down because of the Obama-inspired sales rush.
You guys looking for .223’s those are rifles not hand guns, they are also just a 22cal. with a lot of powder behind them (assault type) rifles. They also make them to hunt with (different style) Now if you are looking for something in home defense a revolver is a good choice, so is a semi automatic and there are so many companies that make them it get confusing. If you want quality you pay for it. If you buy cheap you could pay for it with your life. I’m not pushing brand names but Glock makes a hand gun with women in mind http://us.glock.com/products/sector/women Us guys like them a little more heavy duty. I myself have always like Rugers and have a Super Black Hawk 44mag and don’t shy away from 22’s there are more people shot with those than anything else. Now this is only my opinion.
Monica: You are absolutely right. The Democrat’s know very well that further restrictive gun laws will only affect gun ownership of law-abiding citizens, and will in no way make us safer. They know this just as well as you and I do. Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that they simply want to end gun ownership of the american citizenry. If you look at it rationally, that is the only answer. Their efforts to gradually erode the second amendment until they can make to step to ban private gun ownership. It scares me too. I wish that I did not believe this, but I think it is the only explanation for their actions and words.
