We even got to see Garland display some of his ballroom dancing skills!
In New York, Monica, her sister the Hidden Fran as well as a sister and sister-in-law who are also patrons and fans, of course, met up with a really fantastic group of folks at my hometown pizza place. What a classy, smart & cheerful bunch that was. We sure had a time! Many thanks for your efforts and generosity, all who attended.

Green-Go Apartheid (alt. GringoApartheid): Just read that Israel has Green Passes to prove that you are vaccinated so you can have access to normal society. Reminds me of when I was in South America and a fair-haired Argentine called “Gringo” told me the term came from the fact that border-crossers with a green card got a “go.” The guard would say, “Green? Go.” and the non-English speakers rejected would only hear the guard say to someone “Gringo” and the gringo would go north. Who knows about that, but looks pretty certain that in Israel–for starters–“Green Go” is a reality in what has become “permission living” on steroids.

Love it! The HH swapcast was really good.
Not sure I’ll be able to make it to Childerburg this year, but would love a meet-up that week if anyone is interested. I’m north of Austin but willing to drive anywhere.
