I agree with what you said about Ebay, and it’s my favorite thing in the world too; its capitalism in its purest form, and they also allow you to take action on political matters as well. It was from them that I first learned about the requirements that they 1099 any seller who sells more than $600 worth of stuff, and it led to me contacting my congresspeople about it. My “representative” didn’t bother to respond, and one senator sent only an automated reply; the other senator outright admitted their intention to implement that, and I voted against him for that reason. He still won, but they delayed implementation by one year; I can’t help but wonder if the political action that Ebay inspired people to actually helped to delay implementation by informing folks:-)
