The only reason why I went to college is because everyone except my mother was saying that I should go to college because I was the valedictorian, and was too smart not to; I earned degree that I don’t even bother to list on resumes because no one cares about it, and my commercial driver’s license is worth more than it anyway. Had I listened to the one person, my mother, who was thinking against the “conventional wisdom,” and went to Atlanta Area Technical School instead, I would be much better off financially, and with no debt too
