The reason why the life expectancy of immigrants is higher, has nothing to do with their life styles.
It is the same reason why life expectancy of Israel is higher.
Potential immigrants who died at 3, never became immigrant. Life expectancy @birth is lower than life expectancy @25. Because you cancel all deaths between 0 and 25. Since most immigrants are like 25, their life expectancy is higher. If you would count kids who died at 3 and would have immigrated, it would take down the life expectancy to average.
