I simply can’t see how microaggression sensitivity training or a microaggression hot line and “bias response team” is helping college kids get ready for the real world–agreed? So, what then is it for?

LET ME PREFACE THIS BY SAYING, I HAVE NO CHILDREN; SOME OF DO, AND SOME OF US DO NOT, BUT MY ADVICE FOR ANY PARENT, PRIOR TO SENDING THERE CHILDREN OF TO COLLEGE, WOULD BE FIRST LET THEM LEARN A SKILL AND/OR TRADE. THEN LATER IF THEY WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE, THEY HAVE KNOWLEDGE BY WHICH TO CARE FOR THEMSELVES, AND IF COLLEGE DOES NOT WORK OUT FOR THEM, THEY HAVE A MARKETABLE SKILL AND/OR TRADE TO FALL BACK ON. THIS MAY SOUND VERY BORING AND REDUNDANT, BUT FOR EXAMPLE LET A MALE LEARN TO BE A PLUMBER AND A FEMALE LEARN TO CUT HAIR. LATER WHEN THEY GAIN A LITTLE BIT MORE MATURITY IN LIFE, AFTER HIGH SCHOOL. THEY MAY MAKE BETTER DECISIONS. THEY AND PARENTS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR PROFESSORS, WHO MAY WANT TO SABOTAGE THEIR ENTIRE CAREERS, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT THINK LIKE THEY DO, AND THEY COME FROM HOMES THAT TAUGHT DIFFERENTLY. NO, I WOULD NOT SEND A CHILD OFF TO COLLEGE DIRECTLY AFTER HIGH SCHOOL, THAT IS LIKE TAKING A CHANCE IN A CASINO.
Actually, futuret, that is quite a sensible suggestion. I’d go further and say that parents should do the research well in advance and provide their children with the life skills and understanding of how the world works, along with career path options. Assumptions that the son will follow the father into the same career or that daughters will become housewives/part time workers, whatever, do not serve the best interest or survivability of the child.
I didn’t do this! I was stuck in a zombie existence at the time and just assumed that the authorities new best. The children went onto the treadmill and it worked well for them but it could have gone wrong as it did for many of their peers.

What better way to keep sheeple on a leash, and control them at every step. Once upon a time most men had military experience which by default meant most men developed thick skin, and were exposed to basic leadership skills. Not so long ago the military culture preached “you lead people, and manage material”. Now that fewer and fewer men go into the military and develop that thick skin and learn leadership. Now we push them to college which develops neither thick skin, or leadership skills. Contrary to what Liberals may think of military culture, it’s positive benefits cannot be overlooked. You’re forced to learn that regardless of skin color, we all bleed the same color. Everyone is paid the same, everyone eats the same food, and everyone learns to get out of their comfort zone. I never understood the loathing that Liberals have for our sons and daughters in uniform. Look at the greatest generation, all the businesses that they started. Even the wimps of that generation were tough. So now we have kids with college degrees that can’t read a measuring tape, get their feelings hurt, and want 120k out of college. Best group of sheep this country has ever produced. The elites know this, and it’s getting to the point where they can flaunt their intentions without fear of reprisal from the masses. When people are dumb, with no balls, and have no trade. Well it’s a harvest for any follower of Stallin, Mao, Castro etc.
