President John F. Kennedy was born 98 years ago today, on May 29, 1917. By coincidence (I think), AJ mentioned him today in a comment to one of my posts:

AJ! I did a show to commemorate the anniversary of JFK’s death a while back. I was not really down the rabbit hole then but I was beginning to figure it out. Once I heard that speech it just clicked–seemed downright obvious that that was why he had to go. I will find the show in case anyone wants to hear it.

Just for the record, I would not have voted for JFK. Not only do our principles and politics differ on their faces, according to Mary’s Mosaic, JFK was in favor of a world government which is the worst thing I can imagine. Furthermore, seems to me he was personally immoral and really an insider from the get-go. I do believe that once he got into office and saw that the power elite actually create the problems it then employs the military-industrial complex to solve, it was just a bridge too far for him. I think this is evident in that final speech (quoted above) and I think that is why he had to go. I honor him and his memory for this reason, but I am a libertarian and he most certainly was not.

Wow…I just watched this last clip above and in addition to AJ’s quote, it includes a line about how problems created by man can be solved by man. This is a very important concept I cited just last night (another coincidence – weird.) I always go back to this idea when people hit a wall trying to understand US foreign policy, saying things like, “‘they’ know stuff we don’t know,” or “‘they’ are incompetent” or “it’s too complex.” These excuses are baloney. The problems are created by men and can be solved by men plain and simple and anyone who tells you otherwise is trying to bamboozle you, in my opinion–and in JFK’s too sounds like.
