You might have noticed that this site has changed from thepropreport.com to monicasdeepdives.com. I hope you don’t mind! Given that I’m not contributing any premium content to the patreon feed and don’t share in any of the subscription revenue there nor use the community outreach features–that’s all Binkley now–I repurposed thepropreport.com to monicasdeepdives.com as a place to post all my podcasts and communicate with listeners.  I do continue to post all of my material, audio and video, commercial-free to rokfin.com/propagandareport as does Binkley (who also posts all his premium material there), and I offer all my podcasts and only my podcasts commercial-free on my solo feed Deep Dives with Monica Perez on your favorite podcasting platform. (You can find all platform links to commercial-free Deep Dives here.)

Upcoming Livestreams

I am trying to schedule any and all Live Dives! on Wednesdays at 11amPT/2pmET. I have two upcoming that will for sure be on rokfin.com/propagandareport and on twitter @monicaperezshow as well as rumble on the Monica Perez Show channel. I will try to stream to YouTube, but I get strikes in real time so it’s 50-50 that will work. Already scheduled are:

Deepest Dive of the Month: Monica’s White Pill Summer

This is a first where my Deepest Dive of the Month is actually one of my Deep Dives but this show was too well-received not to highlight. I spent a long weekend with Fat Mitch traveling through Washington & Oregon to visit our homesteading and farming friends up there, some of whom you know and love such as Lanni & CHUD from Greener Postures, Adam from Debra Gets Red-Pilled & Nate the Reality Czar. It was a beautiful experience so I took the chance that you might enjoy it, at the risk of seeming like I’m showing you pictures of my summer vacation…and to my amazement, many people told me this was their favorite show of mine ever! So covfefe!!

Community Creations!

This month I visited homesteaders & farmers in Washington and Oregon as per the Deepest Dive of the Month, Monica’s White Pill Summer. What a great trip it was! Here are some photos of Lanni, CHUD, Adam, Nate & The Parsons. What a privilege it is to know these people.

From Laura (regarding squash pictures): Bill [our friend from Neighbors Feed & Seed] gave me this little plant. Was about a 4 inch stalk with leaves. It was a Tromboncino Squash plant. Actually a very nutritious food. Who knew? The average vegetable is 3 FEET. It has really taken over! Very naturally pest resistant as well. So much to discover! See pics of the ones I grew.

From Laura (regarding tomato picture): My daughter gave me a sad little plant in a pot of red clay. She told me to just stick it in my raised bed and leave it alone. These are the EASIEST and most delicious (=tomato crack) tomatoes I have ever grown. True to their name for sure…here’s the name & the neat story how they came to be! Matt’s Wild Cherry is a cultivar of tomato ostensibly based on the original wild tomato plants, acquired by a friend of Doctor Matt Liebman in Hidalgo, Mexico. Liebman raised this cultivar in Maine, eventually releasing it under his own name. It is species Lycopersicum esculentum var. cerasiforme.

Do you know how much I hate vodka? I hate vodka more than I hate ice and bubbles in my cocktail. Yet at the wedding I went to this month (the subject of the White Pill Ending to My White Pill Summer ICYMI), I ordered a gimlet and Bernie made me one with Grey Goose–it went down too smoothly, I must say. I couldn’t taste the booze at all, which is what I hear makes a vodka “good.” Whatever. I do have to humbly admit that now, I not only enjoy a Bloody Mary with vodka but can also drink a Grey Goose Gimlet like it’s water. (I don’t actually recommend that–very glad no damage was done that night!) All that said, Here are two ways to make a delicious gimlet that actually tastes like something, ie a gin gimlet. I’m also pleased to report that my favorite cocktail blogger calls this The Libertarian’s Delight…click through for the recipes (and click through again for why he calls it that!)
