A couple of years later, and things have gotten worse on the gender front; the progressives spent their pre – Covid hours convincing me that gender is a social construct only to conflate sex, and gender post – Covid. I listened to progressive parents on NPR tonight seeking “gender – affirming care,” newspeak for sex change on children as young as four; during Covid, we were told to trust the science. Yet, they want to change something that cannot be changed in order to reinforce something that we act; hormones have a role in our behavior, hence the reason why teenagers are so moody. By administration of puberty blockers, they are repudiating the whole notion of gender as a social construct; it is proof that no matter how open minded we become on an issue, they will always push things too far. We simply cannot have a government that allow either side to push their agenda on the other half of society because there is never hope of appeasement.
